Set on Dutch private yacht, rescued by Dover Lifeboat, bringing complete to 38 rescued last week *
On Sunday 12th June at 18:49, Dover Lifeboat was entrusted under the command of 2nd Coxswain Jon Miell to attend a Dutch Yacht 2.5 miles East of Dover with engine failing. Jon claimed “The Yacht was well preserved, the engine failing is thought to be from fuel contamination. This can occur to the best kept private yacht so constantly understand emergency treatments”.
Exposure was quite low & & the Yacht was within the method to the port. Our team fasted to react and locate the Dutch Private yacht, they swiftly obtained the Private yacht under tow and also headed right into Dover Harbour. Both the Lifeboat as well as the Yacht were berthed in Dover Marina by about 20:30.
